What is the Clinical Preference Index (CPI)?
The CPI is the core metric of VIALLMED HUB. It measures the true "strength" and market preference of a pharmaceutical drug, not by sales data, but by the actual choices made by Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in real clinical scenarios.
How CPI is Calculated
We present Healthcare Professionals with highly realistic, detailed clinical cases. These cases mimic the daily diagnostic and treatment challenges doctors face in their practice.
For each case, the HCP evaluates the patient profile and selects their preferred treatment strategy and specific drug. This creates a direct "battle" between available therapies based purely on clinical merit.
When a drug is selected, it "wins" the battle. Based on our CPI rating system, the winning drug's rating increases, while the unselected alternatives lose momentum.
Why You Can Trust the Data
Hundreds of Thousands of Responses
Our index isn't based on a small focus group. It dynamically aggregates decisions from hundreds of thousands of independent HCP evaluations across the globe.
Massive Library of Cases
We continuously test drugs against an enormous database of diverse clinical scenarios, ensuring every therapy area is deeply and accurately represented.
Real-Time Market Momentum
Because testing happens continuously, the CPI instantly reflects shifts in medical opinion. You immediately see when a drug starts to lose traction or when a new challenger gains momentum.
Maximum Authenticity
Because we collect data through vast arrays of clinical case simulations globally, the resulting index represents the absolute closest approximation to real-world prescribing intensions available on the market today.
* Data completeness and statistical significance are strictly monitored to ensure the CPI remains the definitive standard for pharmaceutical benchmarking.
